Stay in a Capsule Hotel For A Taste Of Life In The Japanese Culture

Capsule Hotels Japan, One of the most unique accommodations in the world!

A one of a kind Japanese phenomenon, these Tokyo Hotels are designed for short-term stays.

These Extremely cheap hotels - Japan hotel Capsule, do not provide comfort or space.

But they are a fascinating peep into life in the Japanese culture today.

The target market for these hotels is Japanese businessmen late for their last train home, people on a short business trip or a holiday.
Also, capsule hotels are popular among foreign travelers.

Each guest stays in a small sleeping space (capsule) which is about 3 feet by 4 feet by 6 feet, designed to imitate the cockpit of an Airplane.
You can sit up and read, or lie down and watch TV, and that's about it.

The Capsule includes a TV, radio, alarm clock and adjustable lighting.

There may be room for a few personal items no bigger than your cell phone on the shallow shelves.
Larger stuff will have to be stored in a locker outside the capsules.

Bath rooms and Rest rooms are shared by all guests. Some Capsule hotels offer a large public bath.

The open side of the capsule is shut by a curtain or a screen, and it is unlocked.

Women aren't allowed in some of these hotels due to security reasons.

Other capsules offer separate floors or areas for men and women guests.
