Christmas Decorations In Japan
Christmas Decorations In Japan are pretty amazing.
Seasonal illuminations around Christmas are one of the best Tokyo attractions during the evening time.
Christmas lighting and displays start at the end of October. Some of them are kept up until Valentine's Day in February. They are a Tokyo sightseeing experience you will never forget.
Don't expect anything subtle. Tokyo Christmas decorations are usually stunning and glittering.
The major decorations are done by big corporations. They light up their buildings and the trees on the street in a very artistic way.

My Favorite Christmas Illuminations In Tokyo
- The chic and elegant night life district of Ginza - trees and designer label stores along Chuo Dori are illuminated especially for Christmas, which makes the area even more spectacular than it usually is.
- The observation deck at Roppongi Hills for the best Tokyo skyline views of Japanese Christmas decorations.
- The Christmas tree at the Marunouchi office/shopping complex.
Tokyo Imperial Palace Garden Light-ups (The Bridge and the Moat are spectacular).
- Odaiba - for the decorated tree in Odaiba Kaihin Park in front the of Decks shopping center. Venus fort is also illuminated beautifully.
- Tokyo Tower Christmas Tree is one of the biggest and most impressive Christmas trees in Tokyo.
- Omotesando Hills Christmas Tree - a very beautiful tree, my favorite actually, in Omotesando Hills shopping complex.
Many stores have special displays of Teddy Bears to tune in with the romantic atmosphere.
Most Japanese families decorate a Christmas tree, and use lights to decorate the entrance to their house.
