Safety checks have been completed at Disney Sea & Disneyland. Earthquake and the following Tsunami that hit Disneyland Japan caused portions of the parking grounds to be flooded.The Earthquake caused the amusement park's 69,000 visitors to be cut off, using Disney as a safe haven while the earthquake was going on. Because of the earthquake the park was closed for a few weeks, but know is operating as normal.

Japan earthquake caused only minor injuries and minimal property damage at Disneyland Japan, proving again how well-built are both parks. During the earthquake Disney employees were providing blankets, food and water to the guests that have been unable to leave the park. According to Disneyland officials, Japan's most popular amusement parks will probably be closed for a total of about 10 days. Safety examinations were being held to make sure that Japan earthquake did not harm Disneyland Attractions, the park’s transportation system, or the commuting lines from the city. The re-opening of Disneyland was a big celebration for the Japanese people and for tourists to Japan-all great fans of this amazing park.
