Avoid The Crowds - Disneyland Tokyo Secrets
How to Avoid the crowds and skip the long lines at Tokyo Disneyland Rides? Here's 3 simple Rules that will keep you out of trouble (LONG lines) and prevent you from wasting your precious time.
How To Avoid Costly Mistakes And Wasting Precious Time In Disneyland In Tokyo?
Rule No.1:Don't even think of visiting Disneyland in Tokyo during the weekend.Sunday is very crowded. Waiting time can be more than 2 hours at certain Disneyland or Disney Sea Attractions. Long queues can be avoided or at least reduced to the minimum, by getting a fast pass for some of the attractions. Waiting time for Disney Rides with the Fast Pass is well below the advertised time frame. For example - '20,000 leuges under the sea' was advertised at 100 mins, and only took us 20 mins to get through with the fast pass.
Rule No.2: Arrive right at opening time and get your fast pass first thing in the morning. At 10.30 on a weekday morning some Disneyland rides can be up to 100 minutes waiting time, with some fast passes already finished and others not available until 15:30. Commuting to Tokyo Disneyland is a breeze, that is of course if you know that you should take a train from Tokyo station to Mahiama station (local or rapid, doesn't matter). See More:

What is a FastPass? A Fast pass allows you to skip the queue and go to the fast pass queue, which is much shorter. To get it, just go to the Fast Pass machines, near the ride itself, insert your Park Passport and get a Fast pass ticket. Printed on the ticket is the time you can use the fast pass for this attraction. Problem is - there are a few limitations for collecting the fastpass, like how many and for what time. Rule No.3:
One day is NOT enough, even if the crowds are low.Thought you'd cover everything in just one day? Forget it! Disneyland Tokyo Japan and Tokyo Disney Sea are huge. How long should you stay? As long as you can afford to. Frankly, you'll need 3-4 days: at least 1 at Tokyo Disneyland and 2 at Tokyo Disney Sea. However, on peak season you'll find it hard to enjoy either Tokyo Disney or Tokyo Disney Sea Attractions in 1 day.
If you have only one day for this – just come with the right attitude and don't expect to explore all Disneyland Rides and Attractions. If you have more than one day I strongly recommend you stay in one of Tokyo Disneyland Hotels, which will save you time on commuting from Tokyo during morning Rush hour. Some of the hotels have a private entrance to the park, which saves you from standing in long lines.
