Tokyo has two airports, Tokyo Narita Airport and Tokyo Haneda Airport. Tokyo Narita Airport is 80 km northeast of Tokyo. Traffic in and out of the airport is high, especially in December and August, when millions of Japanese take holidays overseas. Both terminals at Narita have ATMs and money exchange counters in the lobbies near Customs. Both terminals also have a Japan National Tourist Organization Information Center, where you can get free maps and other tourist information. Directly across from the customs-area exits are the ticket counters for Narita Limousine bus. Buses leave from platforms just outside the terminal exits. The Airport Limousine is a shuttle bus service from Narita to Tokyo. The Bus stops at various major hotels in Tokyo and at the JR Tokyo and Shinjuku train stations. - Taking the Limousine bus direct to major hotels is the Easiest way.
