Great views of Tokyo Station, the Imperial Palace and Gardens and Tokyo International Forum The Imperial Palace Tokyo - A magnificent Japanese Palace that is home to one of the most discreet Royal families in the world. The Japanese gardens surrounding the palace, the moat and the Japanese bridge are excellent for strolling (or jogging). Marunouchi Brick Square (fourth floor of the Marunouchi Park Building) is a restored 19th century red brick mansion with terrace bars, a lush green garden and a promenade-style path. With it's open cafe's, the square is a sanctuary of peace in the hectic financial and commercial area. At night the Brick Square is lit with soft lights of Meiji era-style gas lamps. Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum (at the Brick Square complex, fourth floor of the Marunouchi Park Building) this compact museum is set inside a replica of the first office building in this area, from 1894. The museum displays a collection of late-19th-century graphics and crafts. Ginza is 10 min by foot. Kabuki Theater, Tokyo Fish Market, Karaoke, Bars and Restaurants are all located in Ginza. Shopping The Marunouchi Building and the Shin-Marunouchi Building (1-minute walk from the Marunouchi South Gate of Tokyo Station) are 2 fabulous skyscrapers that are packed with up-scale boutiques carrying clothing and accessories, cosmetics, skin-care and Jewelery.
