Mt Fuji Tour An Exciting Lifetime Memory
Mt Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan, with a beautifully symmetrical volcanic cone. It goes without saying Fuji Mountain is a must see while staying in Japan.

It is worshiped as a sacred mountain, and a religious spot for Shinto and Buddhists in Japan. They believe the mountain is a gateway to another world. Unlike other sacred mountains in the world - You CAN climb Mountain Fuji. It is actually considered a pilgrimage to climb on it.As the Japanese say, a wise man climbs Fuji once, and a fool twice. The meaning? The climb is very steep. Certainly not for everyone. The official climbing season is only two months long (July and August). 200,000 pilgrims and hikers make the climb every year. Up to a third of these climbers are foreign tourists. Parts of the route are so crowded, you will be dragging your feet in a slow-moving line. On the mountain the only way of getting around is by foot. Some people make an overnight climb in order to reach the Top for sunrise. Temperatures at the top can be below zero during climbing months, while in Tokyo the hot and humid season brings temperatures to 40°C at the same time.
