Don't Book Book a Traditional Ryokan Japan before you read this.
The Big Secret behind this Tokyo accommodation is that it's one of the most Romantic things to do in Tokyo. In fact it is so romantic, I hear some people have proposed during their stay.
A nice little Tokyo Ryokan is
Yoshimizu Ryokan Ginza.
This serene retreat has natural bamboo floors. The tatami (rice straw floor) used in the guest rooms is 100% organically grown. You can really live the Traditional Japanese way of life for a night or two here.
Why should you Book a Ryokan with Tripadvisor? To start with because it will get you the best rates. That's the main thing, right? It lets you compare prices from a few Booking options. Secondly, Tripadvisor is an independent search engine (i.e. it enables you to compare between several Travel search engines and does not push you to book through any particular booking option) and it charges NO booking fees! Thirdly, other travelers have rated the Ryokan for atmosphere, location, facilities, fun, staff, cleanliness, safety and value. So you get a very good idea of what to expect. And last but not least, this engine is also very user friendly.
