It's best to avoid Peak and Top seasons not only because of high prices but also because of the long lines.
Plan your trip at 'off season' to cut costs at Tokyo Disneyland Hotels and avoid endless queues at the Tokyo Disney Resort.

Before we dive in to review the Disneyland hotel Tokyo Ambassador, there is one important thing to remember...

Tokyo Disney Hotels Typically Have Small Rooms

This is because of land prices.

Also - Beds are small - suitable for the typical Japanese, so take that into account.

The double beds are only slightly wider than a single bed – too small for 2 adults or even for 2 children.

Traveling with kids?

Most Disneyland hotel Tokyo rooms are so small that sleeping more than two-three people in a room is impossible. If you're reserving standard size rooms, you might need to book two rooms.

The Disney Ambassador is a lovely Art Deco design hotel. It is the least expensive of the three Disney hotels on site.

It is located right next door to the fancy Ikspiari shopping center, at the entrance to the Tokyo Disney resort.

The location is on grounds of Tokyo Disney, but you do need to take a fun ride with the cute Retro Mickey Mouse shuttle bus to the Disneyland Tokyo, or you can walk there for about 10 minutes.

Like the rest of Tokyo Disneyland Hotels, Disney characters decorate the hotel.

There are mini kid sofas and Disney cartoons very cleverly put at the check in area. This keeps the kids occupied as you take your time and ask all the questions you need at the front desk.
The hotel also has a selection of Disney books for kids (in Japanese, but at least they can enjoy the pictures).

The rooms have little souvenirs like cups which you can take home with you.

The cleaning ladies leave towels folded into the shape of a duck to entertain the kids, and the hotel even provides fresh PJs for kids every day.

Rooms are well equipped and extremely clean.

There is a Massage service which is great to have after a long day on your feet in Disneyland Tokyo.

Check out this Disneyland Hotels Map to find the location of The Ambassador Hotel within the Resort.

I suggest you book at least one night at The Ambassador Hotel.

This is certainly the most popular of Tokyo Disneyland hotels, and for a very good reason.
