Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan with a beautifully symmetrical volcanic cone, which is snow-capped several months a year.  It goes without saying the Mountain is one of the Top 10 Things to do and places to visit in Japan.

Mount Fuji Day Trip from Tokyo – Since its only 100 km (62 mi) south-west of Tokyo, this can be easily done in one day from Tokyo. Taking a Tour will save you the hassle of trying to figure out how to get there on your own from the train station. Taking a guided Tour to Fuji will also enable you to see other things in the area like Hakone Hot springs and the ‘Five Lakes’ without renting a car.
