We are going to Japan in Dec, have some idea what to see. I am not sure if we should book and pay tours now or organize it in Tokyo (have 3 days there). Any advice?

In Advance
Hello Cheris,
If your time in Japan is limited – don't hesitate, book in advance.
Asking for directions and trying to do it all by yourself will waste a lot of your precious time.
Even if you're not the organized tour kind of traveler, since your time in Tokyo is so short, you don't want to be spending it on making arrangements.
There's some lovely Tokyo Tours which can help you make the most of short Trip. A Tokyo city tour guide can help you reach a deeper understanding of Japan culture, and if you have some special interests - Japanese Calligraphy, Samurai Swords, Japanese Tea ceremony, you can take a tour that specializes in that.
Just don't take the ones that go too All Tokyo Attractions in one day.
Try to concentrate on 3-4 places, and you'll get much more from your trip.
