Is June A Good Time To Visit Tokyo?

by Dedy
(Singapore)

I Intend to travel to Japan on June 11 to June 20. Is it a Good timing? I think the weather there at that time is the rainy season...

Reply To - Tokyo Weather In June

Summer climate in Japan begins in June with the rainy season, which lasts between three weeks to one month.
Although it doesn't rain every day, rain can be heavy.

When the rainy season ends, Tokyo weather becomes extremely hot and sticky.
This is certainly not the best time to visit Tokyo.
Mosquitoes are also a problem during the wet season of Tokyo weather.

On the other hand - in the northern parts of Japan the weather will be much more pleasant.
