Star Festival At Tokyo Disneyland

I went to Tokyo Disneyland about 10 years ago and loved it.
We were there during the Star Festival - early July.
There were lots of young Japanese couples and families all writing their wishes down.
The parades were amazing with a mixture of Old Disney Characters like Snow White, and New Disney like Little Mermaid.
So even in my 20's I could really relate to my childhood.
Loved Tokyo Disneyland so much I went to California Disneyland a few years later. But I hope to return to Tokyo Disneyland in the next couple of years with my family.

The Star Festival in Tokyo is a very Romantic event.
I can only imagine how magical it is to celebrate it in Tokyo Disney.
According to the legend, two separated lovers represented by the stars Vega and Altair are allowed to meet each other only once a year, on the evening of July 7th. There's a custom at the Star Festival to write your wish on a strip of paper which is tied to the bamboo leaves.
