Which is better visiting if you only have 1 day – Disney Sea Tokyo or Disneyland Tokyo?

Disney Sea Tokyo and Disneyland are Huge Parks, with too many Rides and Attractions to cover in one day. If you have just 1 day I suggest you come with the right attitude so you won’t be disappointed.

Don’t expect to explore all Disney Sea or Disneyland attractions.

Some general advice…
Take food with you so you can eat on the go. Lines for sit-down restaurants are long. Lines for Popcorn are even longer. No need to waste time on food lines.

If you have just 1 day start very early (check opening hours as they change according to the season and the day of the week).

Buy your tickets in advance through your hotel. There is a very long line at the entrance, so it’s better to purchase tickets in advance.

Read about the Rides and decide which fastpass you want to take. Long queues can be avoided or at least reduced, by getting hold of a fastpass.

Disney Sea Tokyo Or Disney Land With Young Kids?

If you’re coming over to the parks with kids up to 10 years old you want to make sure nothing is too scary for them. Another concern is you don’t want to have one child who wants a specific ride while the other kid doesn’t. Some of the rides have height and age restrictions so they are not suitable for young kids. I recommend that you go to Disneyland where rides are more kid-friendly than in Disney Sea.

Disneyland has lots of classic rides.

In Disney Sea, on the other hand, the Only Mermaid lagoon is geared toward young kids. All other Disney sea Tokyo attractions would probably scare young kids ages 5, 8, and even 10 years old. Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones, Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues, are all pretty loud and intense and could cause too much anxiety.

Disney Sea Tokyo Review For Adults

Disneyland is very similar to other Disney Parks in the world. So if there is ever a chance you go to the other Disneyland parks, you can skip it for now.
In Disney Sea, most of the attractions are unique to this park and have not been copied elsewhere. It is simply breathtaking!

In Disney Sea Japan the Attractions and settings are more elegant and some of the rides and shows are more suitable for adults or teens. Tower of Terror, Aquatopia, Indiana Jones, and Raging Spirits are all terrific rides. Many adults also prefer Disney Sea Japan because alcoholic beverages are allowed and you can buy them there. Disney Sea Nighttime illuminations are very Romantic too.
